Nick Matthew teams up with Fit4-Physio
Fit4-Physio Ltd is based at the Hallamshire Tennis and Squash Club which is also Matthew’s training base and home to the Nick Matthew Academy.   A sports injury and physiotherapy clinic run by Richard Follett and Charlotte Stone with many years experience treating elite sports people and the military, Fit4-Physio offer expert physiotherapy and rehabilitation services alongside sports massage, bike fitting and gait analysis.

Nick Matthew said: “I’m really happy to be teaming up with Fit4-Physio.  With the injuries I’ve had in the past and the fact that I’m not getting any younger, physiotherapy, recovery and injury prevention is a vital part of my training and competition programme.  Fit4-Physio have worked with lots of other great athletes and are very experienced so I know I’ll be in good hands to make it to the 2018 Commonwealth Games in the best shape possible.”

Fit4-Physio said: “We are delighted to join Nick's support team and to provide his physiotherapy as he moves towards the 2017/18 season. With less than a year to go until the 2018 Commonwealth Games on the Gold Coast, Australia, it is an exciting time to be working with Nick and we look forward to supporting his performance goals during this period and beyond.”

Nick Matthew OBE won singles and doubles Gold medals in Delhi 2010 and singles Gold and doubles Silver in Glasgow 2014. In Glasgow he was also chosen by teammates to be the official flagbearer for Team England at the Opening Ceremony.
